Climate Pro blow-in fiberglass insulation - has a white cotton like texture which gets into the hard to reach places and gives you the best insulation coverage per pound. It will not settle or absorb moisture, is non-combustible, will not rot or decay. It also contains no fire retardant chemicals which cause odors, corrode attic pipes and wires.

Old Cellulose blow-in insulation - is ground up paper that has been treated with fire retardant chemicals, which absorbed moisture and settles to a much less R-factor then it started. (6" = R-11 required until 1975)
